June Theme: Month of Divine Enlightenment
Scripture Verse: Ephesians 1:15-18
Welcome to your month of Divine Enlightenment!
This month, The Lord shall open our eyes to more knowledge of Himself and the riches of the inheritance we have in Christ Jesus.
Many of us, before we came to Christ, like the Ephesians, were in spiritual darkness and our flesh were deceiving us that we were in the light. When you are operating with the same mind set you had before coming to Christ, the eyes of your heart need to be enlightened!!
The Ephesians were so much into idolatry and they did not fully understood that once in Christ, they were not supposed to be following the path of idols no more.
I perceived many a Christian still think like the Ephesians even today. We say we are of Christ but nothing has changed from the old ways: we still can’t forgive one another, can’t display virtue, no self control, brotherly love is lacking, can’t be sacrificial in our services unto The Lord, the list goes on and on.
Except our eyes are divinely enlightened, our Christian work could surfer. I am praying that the mercy of The Lord will make the eyes of your understanding to be enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints......
