Prophesy: Tool for Recovery

Prophesy: Tool for Recovery
Scripture Verse: Ezekiel 37:1-10
Key Insights:

Wherever your family lives, the Lord will make a difference for His people. We’re still counted among the living. Don’t be afraid to go into anything with the help of God. Yes, there’s a recovery for you!  What’s about to come your way is 1000 times better than what you had before. The hand of the Lord will rest upon you. Amen!

The prophet Ezekiel, one of Gods servants, had a vison of recovery. Ezekiel was only seeing hopelessness; dry bones in the valley. Ezekiel was told by the Lord to prophesy over the dry bones.  God wanted to bless him. Ezekiel 37:1-10. We have to love God, ourselves and others. Need to come to Him by faith.

The hand of the Lord can provide judgement or blessings. Evidence of blessings was seen with Ezekiel. A divine leading towards the path of recovery. The hand of the Lord provides divine insight and enlightenment. Opportunities appear when previously you didn’t know they could appear. Divine fellowship happens when the hand of the Lord comes. Hear discerning messages from the Holy Spirit.

Three sections in Ezekiel’s story:
  1. There’s a problem
  2. A prophesy went out about the problem
  3. Progression of Recovery
What we need to do:
  1. Acknowledge a problem exists. God wants you to say what the problem is; although He is all knowing. Ezekiel 37:1-3 shows us the problem. Many dry bones. The Holy Spirit will show you there’s a way out. Change is within us. Speak it into existence. What is your problem? Think about it and speak to God about it. Pray and daily talk to God.
  2. Fellowship with God. Speak a word of faith. When the Holy Spirit speaks to you; Receive it in the name of Jesus. Ezekiel 37:4-6
  3. Recovery is a progression. Ezekiel prophesied several times. Ezekiel 37:7. Don’t be discouraged if it doesn’t happen the first time or immediately. Jesus will never lie to us. God works with people who are committed and obedient to Him. Gods words and promises will come to pass.
Conditions similar to “dry bones”:
  1. Living in Sin; Satan has you bound
  2. Hopelessness. You’ve prayed and fasted
  3. Emergency needing divine situation

Know the power of God is unlimited. All you have to do is humble yourself and confess your sins. God wants you to recover!
